B R O O K S - L Y N S U M M E R C L A S S E S
This semi-private drawing and painting program provides individuals of all skill levels the opportunity to grow as perceptual artists. Students are led through a series of exercises based on careful observation of the natural world. Resources include still life, casts, master copies and work with the live model. Artists work closely within an academic tradition to customize their own curriculum under the guidance of instructor Brooks Frederick. Small class sizes of 3-6 people allow artists to learn together in a supportive, communal environment.
